Yes, I'll probably wibble on about Apple a lot, but that won't be all. I'm a biker (got myself one o them there Yamaha R1's), and a bellydance widower, so there may be some mention of such things too, but mostly I am a hardcore geek. I don't mean I've been overclocking gaming rigs and talking all l33t for the last couple of years, I mean I learned to program Z80 assembler on a Sinclair ZX81 when I was 11, and have done my damnedest to stay ahead of the curve ever since.

Yes, the site layout etc is likely to change frequently in the short term as I have dedicated the minimum amount of time and effort into planning it. I spent most of the time playing around on my Linode on which this site is hosted, which was much more fun.

No, this probably won't be updated anywhere near as often as I think it will be. I'm lazy, so until I can replace myself with a perl based AI blogging system it's likely to be very hit and miss.

Yes, I did cheat and produce this site with RapidWeaver. It's a stonking bit of software that allows any old fool to knock up a half decent website. My HTML and CSS skills are actually fairly good, but as I may have mentioned before, I'm lazy and can't be arsed to spend hours tweaking HTML and CSS so that the site isn't complete gobledegook in anything other than Safari. Sod IE6 though - that's long overdue a painful death.

Anyway, time to go and check the Apple Store order status page to see if my shiny new 3.06GHz/8Gb/17" Macbook Pro has been shipped yet.
